Roof Specialists in Montreal
In 1924, René Perron, a pioneer in roofing and sheet metal work, founded René Perron Roofers. At the time, this roofing company employed a dozen men. Three years later, it had 50 employees working alongside this dedicated man.
In 1946, the son of René Perron, Michel, joined the group. He was president of the René Perron Roofers enterprise from 1981 to 2003. Today, he is an advisor and his son, Jacques (René’s grandson) is president. You may often see Jacques on the job, as he often works with the men. As you can see, our roofing company benefits from his wealth of knowlege which most companies do not possess.
This type of roofing experience benefits all our clients. We are currently working on projects for Molson, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Desjardins-Laurentienne Life Insurance, Shell Canada, Goodyear, the Municipal Housing Bureaus of both Montreal and Anjou, as well as many management companies and private residences.
Our many projects include schools, churches, (copper, slate and other materials), buildings belonging to major corporations or institutions such as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft and the Santa Cabrini Hospital, Molson, Cousineau Shopping Center (220,000 sq. ft.) done in 2009-2010, the Botanical Gardens, the copper monuments at Place Bonsecours in Old Montreal and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
We have served an estimated 40,000 clients since our company’s debut and these numbers will continue to grow in the years to come. Our family tradition of service and excellence will be carried on by Jacques and by the 5th generation who has shown great interested in the family roofing business.
