RENÉ PERRON, MASTER ROOFERS
Established in 1924 by René Perron, a leader in roofing and tinsmithing, René Perron Couvreurs employed a team of 10 men. After 3 years, the team expanded to approximately 50 employees.
In 1946, René’s son Michel joined the team. He was President of the company from 1981 to 2003, and now occupies the position of Special Advisor. René’s grandson, Jacques, has now taken on the role of company President. Jacques Perron is a very devoted businessman who is intimately involved in the company and with the employees. He is often seen on the worksite with his employees in order to ensure that the work is carried out meticulously while respecting all regulations and the Building Code. Thanks to his desire to excel and his work ethic, he has become a leader in the roofing industry in Montreal. Our company is proud to offer superior-quality services and materials, which is why we have received the Consumer’s Choice Award for 5 consecutive years.
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
Having understood that a company’s workforce is the key to its success and strength, we ensure that all of our employees undergo health and safety training on a regular basis. The training focuses on the use of machinery and all new products and procedures for installing roofing materials, and especially the types of membranes that are frequently used for flat roofs in the Montreal area (elastomeric, TPO).
OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
A number of companies have benefited from our expertise, including Molson, the Museum of Fine Arts, Desjardins Life Insurance, the Municipal Housing Office of Montreal and Anjou, Shell Canada and Goodyear, to name a few, along with many management companies and private residences.
We have completed a great deal of work over the years, especially for schools, churches (copper and slate roof repair, among others), well-known companies and institutions, such as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, Santa Cabrini Hospital, Cousineau Shopping Centre (220,000 sq. ft.), the Botanical Gardens and copper monuments in Place Bonsecours in Old Montreal.
Since we started out, we have served more than 45,000 clients, and that number will continue to grow. In fact, the 3rd and 4th generation of the Perron family (including Marie-Chrystine, Marc-André and Jean-Sébastien) are already at work, and even the 5th generation is in full training mode. Therefore, your work will be insured for many years.
